The College of New Rochelle Mooney Center Gallery Presents
“Glamorous Enclosure”

The College of New Rochelle will feature “Glamorous Enclosure –Solo Show by Hui Y. Tsai in the Mooney Center Gallery on the Main Campus in New Rochelle through March 21, 2011.
Tsai is an interdisciplinary artist working in photography, digital illustration, installation, sculpture, video, and performance. She has exhibited in the United States and internationally in Ireland and Taiwan. Tsai’s works mainly focus on exploring the relationship of her personal experiences and collective subconscious.
Born in Taipei, Taiwan, she received her M.F.A. of New Genres at the San Francisco Art Institute in 2009, and her B.F.A. at the National Kaohsiung Normal University, Taiwan, in 2005. Tsai has been an artist-in-residence at TaiTung Railway Art Village, Taiwan, Anderson Ranch Arts Center, Colorado, and the MacDowell Colony in New Hampshire.
A reception will be held on February 25 from 5 to 7 p.m. The Mooney Center Gallery is open Monday-Thursday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and from Friday-Sunday 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
