Sound Shore Medical Center Held “A Celebration of Hope”

Sound Shore Medical Center’s (SSMC) 20th annual Gala – “A Celebration of Hope” – was held recently at the Hyatt Regency Greenwich, where more nearly 500 individuals gathered to celebrate the Medical Center’s 2011 highlights and honor three deserving individuals.

A pre-reception for Honorees and their families and special guests preceded the cocktail reception. After enjoying sushi and Mediterranean delights attendees enjoyed a cocktail hour before entering the beautifully-appointed ballroom for the night’s festivities. Amid dramatic floral arrangements and crisply dressed tables those attending the black-tie evening – the Medical Center’s premiere fundraising event of the year– were treated to a video introduction of each of the night’s honorees. Pictures punctuated the professionally-created presentations that spanned life’s milestones in a moving tribute to Corporate Honoree, Guy Sansone as well as Physician Honorees: Stephen Klass and Joseph Casino.

With great enthusiasm and gratitude, family, friends and colleagues celebrated the accomplishments of these four outstanding individuals. In addition, to celebrating SSMC’s highlights and recognizing the Honorees, the event also raised funds in support of the Progressive Care Unit.
